Video: Catholic Grandmother Assaulted While Praying Outside Planned Parenthood
The Blaze ^ | 3/17/2013 | Madeleine Morgenstern

A 63-year-old Catholic grandmother says she was attacked and knocked to the ground while filming outside a Planned Parenthood clinic in Wilmington, Del. last week.

Rae Stabosz told TheBlaze she’s part of a regular group that prays outside the clinic. On Wednesday afternoon, when she and another woman were getting ready to leave for the day, an ambulance pulled up to the front of the building. Stabosz took out her iPhone and began to film, at which point she said a woman came out of the Planned Parenthood and demanded she stop taping.

“She came out of Planned Parenthood and she was very angry,” Stabosz said. “[She said] ‘I’m going to mess you up so f–king bad.”

I do not get why the woman that attacked her has not been identified and arrested. There is a very clear image of her and someone inside the place she came out of surly knows who she is. The local DA needs to explain why the attacker remains at large rather than occupying a jail cell.

Just happened. I think you’ll see an arrest very soon.

The lady that threw the punch clearly said “I’ll call you in an hour when I’m in jail” so she KNOWS what she was about to do (assault the elderly women) is wrong!

Headline: Catholic Grandmother Assaulted While Praying Outside Planned Parenthood

Story line: A 63-year-old Catholic grandmother says she was attacked and knocked to the ground while filming outside a Planned Parenthood clinic in Wilmington, Del. last week.

So, was she assaulted for PRAYING, or for FILMING? Neither is acceptable, but disconnects like that make us look like the progressives, who talk out of both sides of their mouths and adjust headlines to fit their agenda.

The comments over at The Blaze include people questioning why people would protest or pray at the entrance to a legal business. It’s about a half-hour long but it’s very thought-provoking and people should see it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7y2KsU_dhwI

And people wonder how Nazi Germany was able to get away with so much right under the German peoples' noses?

It’s not acceptable to pray? Excuse me, but is this still the USA?

And when an ambulance pulls up in front of Planned Parenthood, there’s no law against taking a picture.

And why is it OK for media people to take pictures of people going through terrible times, but not OK for someone to take a picture of an ambulance?

Actually there are many people who pray outside of abortion clinics and are advised to have cameras (for the just in case moments that happens - if you are filming you can prove you did not do what someone might accuse you of - it has happened before). This lady then recorded the ambulance that was called to document it on film. She saw assaulted (from what I can see and assume) because she had the camera rolling to show the EMT. So the grandma was doing BOTH! I would never pray outside of a clinic without a camera on me because of the assaults that happen.
Now let me ask you something, why did you say “Neither is acceptable”?

We have a foreign enemy combatant in our White House who is seeking (and getting) the same kind of dictatorial powers that Hitler got, and towards the same ends. Those of us who saw where this was headed were marginalized and ignored.

I can TOTALLY understand how Germany got where it was. The power of propaganda, the infiltration of all the agencies with threatened and/or enemy agents, the manipulation of laws, and a citizenry that submits itself to whoever is in power are the perfect recipe for maniacally evil regimes to do unthinkable things.

Basically, the unthinkable is inevitable unless you have checks and balances. Once a tyrant nullifies the checks and balances, nothing is impossible to them.

And America is so there.

UPDATE: 10:01am 3/18/2013 I called the 302-744-4500 number and spoke to “Virginia”. I mentioned the assault and 3 ambulance calls by this clinic within a month. I asked her to please investigate this. She informed me that they have initiated an investigation.
If you could, please call them. Thank you

I understand you to be saying that it is not acceptable for her to be assaulted, whether because she was praying or whether because she was filming. But the reporting should have stated that she was assaulted while FILMING, because that seems to be what set off the Planned Parenthood gal. She had prayed there all day without being assaulted, but was assaulted when she started filming to document the arrival of the ambulance.

Am I understanding you correctly?

And that goes for custody issues too. Have your phone ready but be nice and docile and keep your fool mouth shut.

It looks to me as if “Neither is acceptable” means that it is not acceptable to assault someone for praying, and it is also not acceptable to assault someone for filming, with the additional point that praying and filming are different activities.

One of my favorite answers to the blinders we put on over the daily slaughter of over 3,300 innocent unborn and newly born Americans:

SING A LITTLE LOUDER

After a speech, pro-life activist Penny Lea was approached by an old man. Weeping, he told her the following story:

“I lived in Germany during the Nazi holocaust. I considered myself a Christian. I attended church since I was a small boy. We had heard the stories of what was happening to the Jews, but like most people today in this country, we tried to distance ourselves from the reality of what was really taking place. What could anyone do to stop it?

A railroad track ran behind our small church, and each Sunday morning we would hear the whistle from a distance and then the clacking of the wheels moving over the track. We became disturbed when one Sunday we noticed cries coming from the train as it passed by. We grimly realized that the train was carrying Jews. They were like cattle in those cars!

Week after week that train whistle would blow. We would dread to hear the sound of those old wheels because we knew that the Jews would begin to cry out to us as they passed our church. It was so terribly disturbing! We could do nothing to help these poor miserable people, yet their screams tormented us.

We knew exactly at what time that whistle would blow, and we decided the only way to keep from being so disturbed by the cries was to start singing our hymns. By the time that train came rumbling past the church yard, we were singing at the top of our voices. If some of the screams reached our ears, we’d just sing a little louder until we could hear them no more.

Years have passed and no one talks about it much anymore, but I still hear that train whistle in my sleep. I can still hear them crying out for help. God forgive all of us who called ourselves Christians, yet did nothing to intervene.

“Their screams tormented us . . . If some of their screams reached our ears we’d just sing a little louder.”

Now, so many years later, I see it happening all over again in America. God forgive you as Americans for you have blocked out the screams of millions of your own children. The holocaust is here. The response is the same as it was in my country - SILENCE!”

Absolutely . . . just Goooogle "we sang a little louder" and it should come up in its original form.
