More Americans Sympathize With Israel, Don't Want U.S. to Lead Peace Talks

Many more Americans continue to side with Israel rather than the Palestinian Authority, but - with President Obama's first visit there days away - most also prefer to leave peace negotiations to the two protagonists, rather than having the United States take the lead.

Fifty-five percent in this ABC News/Washington Post poll sympathize more with Israel, vs. 9 percent who side more with the Palestinian Authority, with the rest favoring neither, or undecided. It's been a similar gap for many years, including polling back to the 1980s testing Israel vs. the Arab nations of the Middle East.

That they don't want the US to lead the peace talks, I believe, has a lot to do with who's going to be leading those peace talks.

Actually I support the US leading these peace talks, because the entire idea of peace talks is ridiculous and anti-Israel, and Obama is skilled at ruining anything he touches.

Americans could learn a great deal about life and things from the Soviet Russians. We can only imagine cooperation and consensus building through affirmative offers. We were always able to beat Soviet scientists in creating technology by offering vast sums of money to our scientists.

But Soviet scientists were generally better than our scientists with basic science. Why was that? To start with, they could not offer their scientists fortunes; so they went at it in the opposite direction. First they took away everything the scientists had, then offered them necessities if they created worthy things. An extra blanket to sleep under. An extra potato for lunch. Very motivating when you have nothing.

The Israelis have a thousand, ten thousand joys in life, and they are more than willing to share these for peace. But the Paleos only want the land of Israel. All of it. And while they will take anything given to them, they will never, ever surrender this one goal.

This is because, in Islam, there is little one can do that shows a man is a “good Muslim”, other than to acquire more land for Islam. To make it “Muslim land”. At a minimum he is expected to keep all “Muslim lands” controlled by Muslims. The worst thing that can happen to him is to lose Muslim lands to infidels. It means he is in shame before his family, his people, and even his god.

Muslims openly anticipate that they will rule the world, that they *must* rule the world, and that once a piece of land is “Muslim land”, it remains “Muslim land” forever, defined as “land with the Muslim flag flying over it.”

There are parts of Spain that the Muslims have not controlled in over 500 years, that they demand “back” as Muslim lands.

So the bottom line is that peace talks are incredibly stupid. However, *forcing* peace on them is not. But how can this be done?

Since the western method does not work, Israel’s only option is to use the Soviet method. That is, when the Paleos launch an attack at Israel, take a small piece of their land. They will have screaming hysterics. Then tell them that each and every time Israel is attacked, they will take another small piece of land.

And they must be adamant, that once taken, that land will never, ever, under any circumstances, be return to Muslims.

Of course the Muslims will go crying to the international community, who will be utterly puzzled, and demand Israel give that land back, as it is “nothing but a dead strip of desert”, of no value. But Israel must be firm: absolutely not, no matter what.

The Paleos will lose their marbles. They will threaten, make empty promises, swear to be good, act all sweetness and light, then threaten again and attack. And Israel must take another small piece.

This puts the Paleos in a lose-lose situation. If they keep attacking, eventually all of their land will be forfeit, and the Gazans will be pushed into Egypt for good. But if they stop attacking all they will get is peace, not land.

Once they lose enough land, they will finally agree to peace. But not an easy peace or a quick one, because they will demand the return of their land for peace. But Israel must still refuse. Because if it gives them so much as an inch, war will return.

So indeed it will be a situation of “peace for land”, just not in the way that it is typically thought of.
