The White House should be maintained forever - that's the exception - but the other ‘over the top’ buildings? When they're ready to be torn down they need to be replaced with regular office building like the rest of American works in... Our leaders aren't royalty - more like glad handing used car salesmen...

I believe it is great that Boehner did something that not even Obama could do. He took the time to arrange a special tour. 6th grade children from a Lutheran school in Iowa may have an effect in Iowa (idiots Out Wandering Around) on the political process. Children whom made all the plans months in advance and yet the Republican leadership took the time to make the visit not so much of a disappointment.
I apologize to anyone from Iowa whom may be offended about the Iowa joke, just could not resist.
It must be. My liberal brother knew all about it. He blamed it on the Republicans, and in the same breath said that Obama was justified because the money spent on tours belongs to the government, not the People. I had to stop listening at that point, because my head was about to explode.

So what we have is the obama’s running about our house, having free range all day and night, we have no way of knowing what is going on there, is there knocking down walls, construction, parties but the people and their kids cannot get in our own house to visit.
I saw Beckel making fun about this earlier when questioned but you know when the radical socialists make fun of something then we are right on target, they think using huor and calling people names for asking will take away the questions
how do we know that there is no construction right now where the public goes.
We don;t , is there another reason and they;re using this as an excuse while they change the white house or remove paintings, statues etc.
After all the Robert Lee, statue was removed for the Rosa Parks one but no one seems to know where the Robert Lee statue has gone now.
Maybe the obama’s are fed up of people coming in to what they think is their house now and want to stop the public coming in and now obama’s family has free range during the day and night and no one sees anything

You are being kind compared to what I say about my "fellow" Iowans. The demographic has done slopped over to the point where the hogs now have a higher collective IQ than the humans who voted in the last election.
