From what I understand, the “Beast” is diesel powered.
Maybe they filled up with gasoline instead of diesel. Not to worry, taxpayers can easily afford a new engine.

Correct, they did fill it with gas instead of diesel.
The reporters have it reversed.
The beast is 8 tons and built on a truck chassis.
It has a diesel engine.
