Buenos Aires (CNN) -- Less than an hour after he fired off an angry letter to Catholic Church leaders about their handling of Argentina's same-sex marriage debate, Marcelo Marquez says his phone rang.
He was surprised to hear the voice on the other end of the line. It was Jorge Mario Bergoglio, then the archbishop of Buenos Aires, and now the pope.
What Bergoglio said to him at a meeting soon afterward that year, 2010, was even more surprising, Marquez said.

Marquez, you lie.
It didn’t take long for someone to twist the Pope’s words of years ago with no proof, did it? Be ready for more of the same from enemies.
From CNN the Communist News Network. No surprise here.
What’s the big deal? If two people don’t have a religion but wish to form a legally binding agreement in the form of a “civil union” there is nothing wrong with it!
We make a very serious mistake if we rely on media like the New York Times, Newsweek, CNN, or MSNBC for reliable news about religion. These news media simply dont provide trustworthy information about religious faithand sometimes they cant provide it, either because of limited resources or because of their own editorial prejudices. These are secular operations focused on making a profit. They have very little sympathy for the Catholic faith, and quite a lot of aggressive skepticism toward any religious community that claims to preach and teach Gods truth. |
Things of the Church reported in the secular media, particularly about the Holy Father, need to be viewed with the most jaundiced eye.

No objections here, and in fact, if more than two people want to have some sort of civil union, I've got to believe it's none of my business.
Are the leftist extremists going to be content with that? I doubt it. Only the total destruction of our society will satisfy them.
Contrast how this he-said she-said is treated by the MSM, vs. (for example) that of Larry Sinclair.
Anybody can name whoever as the beneficiary of a will or an estate. Anybody can give medical power of attorney to whoever. Isn’t that the same thing as a civil union? You don’t have to marry your brother, sister, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc. to do that.
