“3. Rid-X or garden lime for odor control”

I have cat litter by Arm and Hammer Soda Company. Prevents odor.

I have a portable potty to use in the house for solid waste and will use regular toilet with plastic bag in it for urine - a small bit of Pine Sol will prevent urine odor from building up. Have to put something like an upside down jar or something in bottom of potty to keep the plastic bag from trying to go down the hole. Urine in solid matter makes for more odor. The Arm and Hammer cat litter put in solid waste soaks up liquid in the solid waste and helps cut down on odor. Be sure to keep urine and solid waste separate.

The solid waste will be buried.

I also bought an outdoor fireplace with a glass door on the front to keep cinders from blowing out, that can use artificial logs or wood or charcoal. That is to burn trash since I'm in town. I'm not out in the country so can't have a regular open burn barrel. The fireplace has a drawer open on the top to put the logs or wood and has a grill over that to cook food if need be.

Don’t buy cat litter. It’s too expensive. Sodium bentonite or calcium bentonite are the same thing and much cheaper. You should be able to find it at a Tractor Supply or any feed store.
