As state lawmakers seek relief, ICE defends immigration law

Seeking a way out of a federal policy that they say mostly deports people without criminal records, activists rallied Wednesday for a bill that would allow police to not enforce immigration detainers

“I am so sick and tired of getting calls from constituents saying, ‘My neighbor has been taken away. The mother of the family next door is being deported.’ I’m tired of pediatricians calling and saying, ‘The parent of my child-patient is in deportation proceedings, and the child is suffering because of it,’” Rep. Denise Provost (D-Somerville) said during a rally in front of the State House. “None of us should be supporting or in any way underwriting this kind of conduct by our government.”

“I have a deportation order, and I don’t want to be separated from my family. That is why I’m here,” Zapata told the crowd, with the help of an interpreter translating from Spanish... How nice nice i break the laws and the law breaking catches up with me but becuase I have children I do not want to leave and think I'll stay here and proclaim these laws should not apply to me.I have kids ? How many children are suffering because illegals were driving drunk, they caused fatal accident for which mom and died the children are left to endure suffering knowing their parents will never be back and these kids must carry on and none of this matters to the illegals.Only their families count and only their families suffer.

This is the confusion that comes from lawbreaking. If your parents drag you across a border against the law, you suffer. Take it up with the parents who KNEW they were breaking the law.

It’s all BS anyway, because no one is getting deported lately.

I am so sick and tired ...

I am so sick and tired of people who have sworn to uphold the law and look for excuses not to...

The constant hand wringing and whining about the poor, mistreated illegals has become as annoying and meaningless as the whining about race.

Both have become so pervasive and so groundless that it has just become a form of white noise.

The guilty party here is the criminal illegal who knowingly broke our laws to come here and loot the American economy and the American taxpayer.

Well Rand Paul to the rescue.

He’s going to make them all legal.
