Yeah, but you cannot compare Western shows, like Bonanza, The Rifleman, Rawhide, The Virginian, Gunsmoke, etc with that crap
heheheheh...the Rifleman opens with a rapidfire barrage out of a levergun, and Lucas is noted for being a good shot, so, the implication is a dozen dead guys on the other end of main street...
difference really is that in the old westerns, the *good* guys used guns to stop the bad guys...
most shows today require the *civilian* to either assist by tattletale, or be charged with obstruction, by the masters with the guns...
