Got you covered right here. Until Big Sis bans them too...

Cool. Pretty cheap too. http://liliputing.com/2013/02/crazyflie-nano-quadcopter-is-a-173-open-source-programmable-flying-machine.html
.22lr rat shot from CCI loaded up in multiple BX25 bannana mags. In fact, with respect to .22lr, rat shot from CCI is just about all that’s available right now.
I’m dying, laughing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sent to wife: B'day.
I was thinking “annoy sunbathers”, but “annoy friends” works as well.
What if an asteroid hits and blows us all to kingdom come? Just do what you can do Dude.
I don't disagree with you, but I think a better discription of the "Distributed Republics" you suggest would would be corporations, as in: the world is a business, Mr. Beal!
Asteroids impacts like Chixulub happen on a many million year cycle.
This is being done on purpose.
Asteroids aren’t, as far as I can tell, sentient. Once these are commonplace your odds of being affected by them are MUCH greater than your odds of dying in a Chixulub type event.
Your odds of being in a computerized database were essentially zero in 1950. Now, your odds of NOT being in a database are essentially zero.
In 10 years the odds that these won’t be in common use by the ‘bad guys’ is essentially zero. And the ‘bad guys’ might be the property owners up the road that just don’t like you.
IMO the first assassin drones will fire a single .22 short round into the backs of victims’ necks. The drones need only be large and massive enough to carry and fire one .22 short with enough velocity and accuracy to be lethal.
Imagine if the Chicoms sailed a container full of these into the GOM just off the coast. Released a million of them. With just enough ‘intelligence’ to find a humanoid target and fire.
Imagine if they all looked like crows or blackbirds.
Imagine if they knew how to recharge using outdoor electrical outlets and utilize trains and tractor trailer rigs to hitchhike.
You just think the DC sniper caused chaos.
The ‘happy’ part of this scenario is the price range is rapidly decreasing. In 10 years it might not be the Chicoms. It might be the Nicaraguans or Brazilians or Cubans or Andorreans.
Or just plain old Al Qaeda.
Or just some random wealthy wackjob. In China. In Japan. In Bermuda. Wherever.
They'll need to be massive enough to have sufficient inertia that most of the force of the powder going off is imparted to the bullet. If the're too light, the bullet will likely do minimal damage to the target, while the drone ends up a half mile away.....
We need to either convert a lot of drone programmers to conservatism, or have conservatives infiltrate their ranks. That way we can get warning and be ready to respond appropriately to their presence.
Careful using it too close to the house, though...you might fry your Windows 8 or Firefox...
LOL!!!
“Imagine if they knew how to recharge using outdoor electrical outlets ....”
Or, even better, inductive charging using the electromagnetic field emanated by overhead power lines.

Good point — but, anything over a couple of grams will have sufficient inertia to impart at least half the force to the bullet.
What are the rules on surveilling the goons of big brother through a Leopold 4X20 over a .338?
