On Morning Joe today, Jimmy Carter´s former national security adviser had some advice for President Obama: tell Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu that America will not go to war against Iran. Attacking Iran´s nuclear facilities would surely be an act of war. Yet doing so might well be the only way to prevent the ayatollahs from getting the A-bomb. Wasn’t Zbig the same fool who advised Carter against action vs. Iran in the early stages of the hostage ordeal in 1979?
Actually, Zbig was coaching Jimmy Carter in foreign affairs when Jimmy was still in the Georgia Governor’s mansion. If I recall correctly, the President of CocaCola told David Rockefeller that he had found “the perfect dupe,” Jimmy Carter. Rockefeller dispatched Zpig to groom Jimmy for a run at the White House.
Zbig was the guy who invented Radical Islam as a “bulwark against Communism” and set the Ayatollah Khomeni up in Iran.
