I've been making paracord bracelets for my family and friends. I have tons of cord and I get the plastic buckles at Hobby Lobby for cheap. I even have my batty mother-in-law wearing one. My mom asked me what they are for, and I (only half-jokingly) told her "So we can recognize each other when the revolution comes".
That also is a good idea.
Went out and viewed some of the types of bracelets mentioned, by you, this AM. They are beautiful! There was one for police, fire, rescue, each branch of our Military and Coast Guard, all different all unique and each easily recognizable. When you said half-jokingly, your comment of being able to recognize each other when the revolution comes it took me back to another time and place. Thank You for bringing back a most pleasant of a pleasant memory. I remember a time not long ago of plan, with family, for our safe zone and safe meeting place if the time ever arose. Luckily we never had to implement and meet.
Yours is a Great Idea, and I do believe the time is coming (whether we wish to go there or not) it will be imperative to be able to recognize one another to know if the encounter is friend or foe, to help eliminate some of the danger. No sane person wants to go there, for to go there is to witness all civilization go into turmoil. Going into turmoil may soon define each of us though and recognition of each other may come to be paramount, and even then may God help and keep us safe.
