I know that they consolidated a bunch of agencies into the DHS umbrella. DHS only constitutes a portion of the federal agents employed.
I’d like to know, why in the hell there are 100,000 of them. Not counting FBI, DEA, US Marshals, etc etc.
That’s easy. 1000 airports; and 100 gropers at each airport, and VIOLA! There you have it.
