...and all kidding aside, any private corporation (and that’s what the Washington Redskins are) has tremendous equity in their brand, trademark, etc...so will we as taxpayers have to pay the recompence due the team owners? Or will the owner just have to lose the equity that has built up over many decades? (not that I care so much for Daniel Snyder, it’s the point...)

The Democrat Way is built around a base of power crazed elitists who control all the key institutions in society. They are then in a position to dole out endless government largesse in return for votes from the legions of takers who who are conditioned to have a sense of entitlement. Naturally the elites have a vested interest in maintaining their power as that power ensures the continuation of their cushy and secure jobs in government, academia, and the legal establishment. One reason Dems fight so hard for this system is that to lose an election could mean the loss of their own job security.
