As Homeland Secretary Janet “Big Sis” Napolitano faces mounting pressure to answer for DHS’ large solicitations and purchases of ammunition over the past year, the second of two reports looking at who is to blame in the gunrunning scheme known as Operation Fast and Furious is painting DHS operations in Arizona as inept, ignorant and mismanaged. Of course, top officials in DHS are exonerated, not that we’re surprised, but one has to question that if the Arizona office is all of those things, how much more are the top officials who have been exonerated?
Richard Serrano writes, “Even as they lost scores of illegal firearms in their Fast and Furious operation, federal ATF agents asked their Border Patrol counterparts not to pursue criminal leads or track gun smuggling in southern Arizona so they could follow the firearms themselves, and senior Homeland Security agents ‘complied and the leads were not investigated,’ according to a new Department of Homeland Security inspector general’s report.”

Ignorance? No doubt. Mis-management? I believe you must have a “manager” in order to achieve that. Political appointees are generally just that. Appointees. Not managers. Most of these clowns are your typical radical left wing extremist demokkkrat scumbags who get a “position” and follow orders for personal gain. Oh, and no repercussions for their failing either.

It isn’t mismanagement, they do it on purpose!
The DHS is Obama’s civilian army. Make no mistake. Obama is gearing up to be dictator of a destroyed Republic. He knows there will be resistance. He is preparing to meet it.
Even the few career people in government with any management acumen are suffocated by layer upon layer of bureaucracy and political gamesmanship.
Big government simply does not work as evidenced by the constant stream of crises in this country, most of which were entirely preventable with competent and proactive management. Another related problem is the diffusion of responsibility which avoids any semblance of accountability.
No. No. No. No! They are not ignorant. They are not mismanaging anything. They know exactly what they are doing. Fast and Furious was a false flag operation designed to blame the 2nd Amendment for the violence in Mexico. It had the added bonus of arming Uncle Scams favored drug cartels that put their billions of drug profits into Wall St. banks and whose drug product weakens the American citizens, making them easier to control.
Saying these people are ignorant, bumbling cowards makes them less culpable. They need to swing for their deliberate crimes against this country.
I also wonder how many of those guns end up in Obama's "civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
I say we need Term Limits:

Theres a few good competent people in most areas of gov.con and they keep things moving however they are overshadowed by the parasites and predators.
Things are moving fast and gov.con is growing at the same time many boomers who were the glue are getting out as well as anyone with morals who sees the evil behind the curtain.

He already has destroyed us. Our fall is pending and I cannot see any way to stop it. Most Americans are still asleep and those that realize something is wrong haven't a clue what must be done. Soon the dollar will fall because of the Feds creating dollars that have no backing. Our debt is beyond repair and we cannot spend years trying to reverse it. King Obama is a communists and his empire will not change. The few Democrats that are beginning to see the light are still in a fog.
Ignorance? More likely enough of the paper trail was destroyed during the years of delay to provide some implausible deniability.
I see the evidence of intent that you do. I cannot imagine that Congress will set idly by and watch it happen.
The consequences of inaction of the GOP controlled house is extreme for the nation.
If Congress fails to act, the resistance must come at the State level. It will be Defiance at the state level to allow this. It may come to that.
I intend to protect my family and my friends. And my friend I am sure intend to do the same. Whatever it takes.
I suspect the worst will be in the midst of Obozo’s feral children. When the subsistance programs are not there, it will be chaos in places like Detroit, NY City, LA etc.
And these are folks who are buying up all the ammo and M-16’s

A sad state of affairs for sure. Good people are held down and prevented from using their managerial skills due to all the bureaucratic BS they are forced to deal with so they basically just say F it and draw a paycheck. We(collectively) have done this country a great dis-service with PC BS. Glad I’m out of the corporate world and no longer have to put up with the mandatory diversity and tolerance for all (except you/us and your/our backward thinking) training. We used to give the trainers fits by countering their claims and couldn’t get them to give us decent answers to viable questions. What a hoot! Talk about frustrating. Of course this just led to us being required to have further training/indoctrination. LOL!
