A Democratic senator claims impostors pretending to work for his office are calling people in his state to ask how many guns they own.

Sen. Mark Pryor, of Arkansas, took to Twitter Friday to clarify that he is not the one behind those calls.

Could Pryor be facing a primary challenge? This smells like the type of operation you would expect of an experienced opposition.

It is also interesting that he thinks this behaviour is toxic politically.

He also voted against the Democrats budget this morning. Bet he was also a no on Feinsteins gun grab for the commoners bill.

There are two Republicans opposing Prior in 2014. Prior is history. Count on it. He is a Dem and votes Dem unless his vote is not needed. Typical Southern Dem that the people finally figured out.

Pryor should have never been elected!
Just a flake that ran on his Dads Coatails who was just and idle Senator that sat on his ass!

Pryor is sweating hard for next year’s election. And with the Senate so close in numbers, plus several Dems from relatively Conservative states...

This is why Reid won’t allow votes on several issues - not the least of which is the original weapons law of Feinstein’s. He knows that he may not have the votes without those Dems like Pryor. It’s a loose/loose proposition.

I just pray Arkansas voters will actually pay attention to Pryor’s votes and positions in all but the year and a half before elections... and how he has towed the Reid/Obama water faithfully all that time.

I'll confess am not familiar with pryor. Unable to respond intelligently. <-—Heck when did I ever respond intelligently. If you are from the area may the people be rewarded with a senator that represents the state.

“It’s a loose/loose proposition.”

I see how it is a loss to vote for gun control for Senator Pryor. I do not see how he loses by voting against gun control. Those who are actually for more gun control are a tiny number.

So, what is the loss on the other side?

As they say, all’s fair in love and war, and this is war.

Make ‘em sweat, from dog catcher up to Presidential candidate.

Sure hope he is toast. He got elected by name recognition. His father was a senator and governor of Arkansas back when there was actually such a thing as a conservative democrat. Hopefully, the good folks of Arkansas do indeed have him figured out.

It would be a first if a member of the GOP actually was this crafty.

Does Pryor actually think his constituent are so dumb that they don’t know he belongs to the gun-grabbing Democrat party?

Would be so nice to see him being replaced.

Next voting cycle, we should really fire him and many others.

Have to get the base excited in every district.

She is up for election in 2014. If she supports the gun grab in LA she is toast. Daddy’s history won’t help her.

I hope voters there are onto her because like she always does near an election, she pretends to swing back on the traditional approach to things. Runs to the camera-in some way sets herself up into a political situation to where it appears she is crossing her own party. Though, after all the voting is done, she goes back into democratic loyalty mindset. She is one sneaky(corrupt imo) politician. I would be overjoyed to see her go.

The gun grab issue in LA in not about Party. It is a culture where guns are traditional norm. If she votes for it, she is toast. Nobody will help her.
