“Gun deaths shaped by race in America”

Shaped by race?

Between 1976-2005 per DOJ statistics, blacks represented 12% of the total US population yet accounted for 52.2% of all homicides.

That is more than “shaped”. That is a national epidemic.

Of the black population that commits 52 percent of the murders, 4 percent are black males between 15 and 60 years of age. So 4 percent of the population commits probably 45+ percent of the homicides in the USA, year after year.

And Many are convicted felons who cant legally have a gun in the first place.

Despite the headline of the article, The Washington Post goes out of their way to avoid revealing the central issue on guns and race. Orwellian is the operative word here.

Rather than a national epidemic, it is a global phenomenon. Check murder rates by country worldwide.
