Fox lost me in 2001 when they hired Whorealdo. I turned off my TV and have never turned it back on.

Amen to that, I get my news on the radio the local newspaper, and on FR.

I wasn't that abrupt. I simply changed the channel when unlikeable personalities came on. But they keep adding unlikeable personalities to the extent that there are not enough reasons to remember to watch FNC...
Unfortunately, more people in the desirable advert demo prefer such persons, as well as the tabloidial topics, rather than what's either really important, or even newsworthy.

I quite watching Fox News probably 2 or 3 years ago. I get my news from local and national radio and FR. Fox News is too far to the left for me...Fair and Balanced became barely just to the right of CBS

I don’t even have cable, and I don’t miss it.

I did that a little over a year ago (although I still purchase and watch DVDs). Getting rid of cable/satellite has actually improved my life. And I am still better informed as to current events than most people I converse with (thanks to internet and online radio).

It was Katrina for me. I had been not tuning into them more and more, but Katrina coverage was the nail in the coffin, so to speak. I think I caught a couple of the after debate reports but that has really been it.
