What would Texas do if they showed up at the Fed bank with a truck and the Fed said “no”?

I am well aware that WB father was a rock ribbed conservative hard money guy who served in the US Congress. WB is fiat money all the way.

Really?
Really, really?
The State that was once an independent republic that makes nukes up in the pan-handle is irrelevant?
You yankees sure know how to throw a party.

I think if it’s THERE...bring back to Texas.
Sadly, I’m not sure there is any gold there. Or any where else.

And remember... Texas is slightly larger than France.
Which also has nukes.

Shut down the gas pipelines and freeze a yankee.

Actually, I did see on a news program (msm) a couple of years ago that there is no gold in the vaults.
Is it true? I sure don’t know. But it’s sure possible.

Think you gotta drill sample it. Worse comes to worse, yes. But if there is a nondestructive method that would be preferable.
X-ray, neutron activation, ultrasound, mechanical deformation (does the bar bend, twist, flex or stretch like solid gold?), sonority, center of gravity, something.

Is it true? I sure dont know. Me neither.
But its sure possible.
Yep. But denying Texas its gold would remove any doubt.

That is assuming it still exists in the US. It’s more likely to be in China or Saudi Arabia.
But tungsten is nice, too.

If your grasp of the English language is as poor as it appears to be then I’ll help you out this one time.
That Texas (or any other state) builds nukes is irrelevant to the question of where they store their gold or whether they can obtain it on demand.
