From these two paragraphs there is nothing that crosses a legal threshold however there are several accounts of other teens who actually witnessed the rape/assualt. Apparently there is a video of a teen joking that the girl must be dead because (paraphrasing) no one could sleep through anal sodomy.
That’s different if someone actually witnessed the rape. That is aiding and abetting a felony.
