Sounds like he was suspended for going to the teacher’s boss and raising a stink.

It sounds to me like they tried to punish him for loving Jesus and giving Him respect.

Our society one day will make it very painful to people who admit to being followers of Jesus.

Let me see...I asked what in the article made you think the guy was a jerk (my word).

So, either I read it or you think I’m a moron.

Which is it?

Well, I didn’t actually ask, but the question was certainly implied.

Since the article explains the guys actions, suspended him but then rescind that ruling.
I say, you didn’t read it.

Since nothing in the article indicates anything about the student being a jerk. Since I stated I didn’t see anything to merit your characterization, since you deflected the question - I say you’re full of it!

Oh, good grief.
From the article:

The student, devout Mormon Ryan Rotela, now faces a litany of academic charges and may no longer attend class, reports Fox News Radio.

The allegations against the junior include “acts of verbal, written or physical abuse; threats, intimidation, harassment, coercion; or other conduct which threaten the health, safety or welfare of any person.”

Rotela’s attorney told Fox News that the professor, Deandre Poole (who is also the vice-chairman of the Palm Beach Democratic Party), may have felt threatened when Rotela said of the Jesus stomping, “Don’t do that again.”

Rotela also reportedly said, “You’ll be hearing from me.”

Yes, that is from the article I read, and I read it exactly as you excerpted it - SO, my original (implied) question remains, what in that excerpt justifies your characterization of the young man as a jack@$$?

The fact that the school laid a whole litany of generalized charges? Does that make him a “jack@$$”?

Or because Rotela said, “Don't do that again”?
Or because he said, “You'll be hearing from me.”?

Or maybe because he's Mormon? Or Christian? Or male? Or a student? or a junior?

From your earlier post, maybe it's because the school made allegations which they later withdrew - THAT makes him a jack@$$?

I am still left dumbfounded by your original post - exactly WHAT made you think he's a jack@$$? Or were you being sarcastic and implying that the school gave him the “jack@$$” punishment?

I am truly left puzzled, and your exasperation at my question leaves me more so.

This what I said, after I posted the link:

Sounds like he was suspended for being a jack a$$

You, asked a question about something I did not say.

"Sounds like" is speculation, not a conclusion.

If it were a conclusion, I would have said: he was suspended for being a jack a$$.

OK, to humor you, what made you “speculate” that he was a jack@$$?

You are parsing words far too finely. Your usage of the term “sounds like” is more often meant to state a conclusion than to offer a topic for consideration.

NEVERTHELESS - you continue to evade the very simple question, which is not materially altered by your latest spin.

His behavior, as I quoted from the article clearly states.

Exactly WHAT did the quote clearly state about his behavior? (Not the allegations, but his behavior)

I don’t see it. So just quit evading the question and give a simple answer.

A simple answer would be in this format: He did _____________, and _____________, and ______________. Which makes me think he might be a jack@$$.

All you have to do is fill in one or more of the blanks.

You read the article, it states the charge.
Guessing you have read other articles, the charges were brought because of his behavior.
It is no skin off my nose if you do not think that he appears to be suspended for being a jack a$$, of course the suspension was reversed.
My original post (read back though the thread) was: why was he really suspended?
Last time is appears he was suspended for his behavior.
Maybe, you should think about something else, the school caved and he is back in class.
Oh, and I am not going to fill out your silly little form.

OK, I guess my hunch was sound. I didn’t jump to the conclusion, I let you prove it:
YOU are the jack@$$/
