Not a lawyer at all, just understand the difference ways different sections of reality look at the same thing. For the wife and I our marriage is a “romantic” (neither of is really romantic, but close enough) relationship, the government doesn’t care about our romance it cares about property, and of course as long as the wife and I stay together we don’t care about property. Everybody’s got their tunnel vision, the key to figuring out how the world works is learning how to look through somebody else’s tunnel.

Obviously the constitution has a mind of it’s own and can change it’s meaning whenever it wants.

When did it change to make abortion a right? The 70’s. Clearly the constitution dropped a lot of acid in the 60’s.

They can start with the tax forms. No more Married Filing Jointly/Separately categories.

No more incentive's for marriage or children is probably part of the aim here. Which means more tax dollars collected by the federal government...follow the money.

Olson equates interracial marriages with same gender messages. He does not seem to see the difference between one and the other.

He REFUSES to see (selective insight) the difference. Like many people in modern society, he is in denial of moral absolutes.

Ted has not been the same since he lost Barbra in the 911 attack. I miss Barbra she was one of our best.

Clearly the constitution dropped a lot of acid in the 60’s.

It started long before the 60's but came into full swing with the secular progressives back in the late 40's. By the 1950's God was having a tough time in the secular world, (thanks to the likes of Madalyn Murray O'Hair and her ilk), schools threw Him out as well as many other public institutions. But you're right about the 60's. Many drank the cool aid and joined the Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club.

There’s a spiritual component, as well. Probably bigger than the monetary aspect, even though money is what is driving the players.

Destruction of the family is a primary objective to “the other side”.
