This is how intelligent our opponents are. Too often, we think they do not understand firearms.

But, if the "cop killer" theme worked, then they could go after high-power rifle cartridges for the exact same reason.

In fact, as I witnessed 20 years ago in NYC, the media reported a search of an apartment found a "sniper rifle capable of killing a human at over 1 mile". The actual rifle was a Mauser bolt action with a scope.

But, because the apartment was in a high-rise, this man would have been able to shoot New Yorkers a mile away.

We all know this as bull-feces. But, by starting with the "cop killer" theme, this rifle was now capable of killing police over a mile away through their bullet-proof vest.

These people will not stop.
