The only thing that stopped Hillary in her tracks was America wanted what it perceived as an oh-so-cool black rock star in the White House. No such repeat of that scenario is on the horizon next time around, unless a hispanic like San Antonio's mayor Julian Castro steps forward to challenge her, which I doubt. He'll probably end up being her running mate.
