Just thinking a bit into the future, if this guy really is a conservative who just happens to be gay, imagine Sarah Palin coming in and endorsing a Gay Conservative Republican. And suppose he wins, South Carolina (SOUTH CAROLINA!!) would have two conservative senators, one black and one gay. Liberal’s heads would explode. And Palin would just love to needle the liberals on that one.

Two lavender queens in one primary (does South Carolina have some problem of which we outsiders are not aware???) means an excellent opportunity for an actual conservative who knows what goes where to be nominated and elected, thereby improving the Senate and causing pain to McCain.
Let's spare Sarah the pain of having to support a lavender queen for the Senate.
