It seems to have surprised a lot of people that conservative Fox News host Bill O'Reilly doesn't think that arguments in favor of "traditional marriage" are very compelling. But as the following timeline shows, O'Reilly's views on gay marriage have been shifting, in fits and starts, for years now. Bill O'Reilly is America.

October 27, 2004: “I've been saying that all along, that if you open the door for gay marriage, then you have to have the polygamists and the triads and the commune people and everybody else, right?”

April 14, 2005: "We told you this would happen, if gay marriage is legalized, then much chaos would follow.”

June 5, 2006: “Traditionalists like me believe the USA has become strong because of its core values, the freedom, individual responsibility and institutions like traditional marriage, which foster common goals.”

July 10, 2006: “The gay marriage thing to me, I don't understand why it's so important for the secular progressives in this country, the people who want to change America fundamentally and every way, why this is the lead issue. The L.A. Times, New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Boston Globe. These people are going, 'Oh, my God, what are you doing? How can you not see the civil rights aspect of this?

It will only become worse because we do not have a strong leader on the opposition side and a leader who will protect religious freedom and respects how this nation was founded. Morality, now we are seeing hip hop decisions driven by the media so the gays can be reorganized as a voting block and changes attitudes. This is a Christian nation. The attack has been there for a long time. They aim to destroy the family. They can do as they like with no one in their lives. It’s wrong to see what is happening. Forcing others to agree with something you disagree with on this level through changing years of historical facts and foundation by doing so with a corrupt media.

The timeline shows O’Reilly moving from the conservative, to the libertarian/rino position.

"Now that’s different....someone MAY have the goods on him....gays are VICIOUS....AND DEPRAVED sometimes."

Perhaps he is just fulfilling the role of an informed Catholic. After all, Rome cannot decide whether Pelosi and Biden should be in or out. O'Reilly is simply moving along with the times...the same thing Rome is doing.

Sorry, but Biden and Pelosi have EX-COMMUNICTED THEMSELVES!! The Pope does NOT ex-communicate when someone ex-communicates themselves....no need to. Besides, GOD KNOWS ALL.

Maybe so - yet he still lacks the stones to say "Publish and be damned!"

Where are the survivors of the massacre at Benghazi? The silence of the Obama Regime on this question is deafening!

Fiat Justitia, Ruat Coelum!

Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

agree and even if he did lose his job then he has enough to reitr nad certainly stand on convictions.

Him and Hannity should have been mentioning this for years just like the left did.
The left have been chipping away for decades to push this agenda and lets not forget this is what the communist started in this country in the 60’s.

Did the left ever say they had to reach out, did they say we have to stop this issue, hell no they kept plugging away so when people have heard it enough they can;t be bothered.

Our side became cowards to the Akinsky tactics and oh how the communists and weather underground are laughing at O.R Hannity and our side now

This whole gay marriage thing is a perfect example of the media leading public opinion.

The sad thing it's even corrupted life long Christian's that should know better. A long time believer who attends the same church as me just today said this to me when I mentioned my opposition to gay marriage on facebook.

"....I may not agree or approve of the gay lifestyle but I do not condemn them either and some of them live a christian life ...i have learned not to judge others in their relationship with God as it is a personal relationship ...each has their own set of convictions that God has shown them...."

So this is what it's come down to, the church can't teach homosexuality is a sin, because that's between the homosexual and God, and as long as God isn't convicting them it's none of our business.

Sigh, I'm almost to the point of wishing judgement day would get here, because I'm sick of constantly fighting a losing battle.

What is utterly flabbergasting is that people still consider O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Faux News, as being Conservative.

O’Reilly’s original occupation was that of a school teacher. With that infection of his brain anyone who can trust him to stay on the conservative course is just plain dumb.

You never know where he is coming from on any issue....however.....most of the time it’s through the eyes of a liberal school teacher.

At the end of his show each night he gives the class a word to look up. How about “two-faced.”

There is a culture war, and this is a battle that is being lost. It’s just that simple. The younger generation doesn’t see why gay marriage is even an issue. The older generations are dying off. It’s probably the most sweeping change to the foundations of civilization since the bronze age, and it took only one generation. One decade, really. They think it will not affect the essence of civilization, and they’re inevitably wrong. How they are wrong will only be a matter of time.

That’s because O’Reilly believes in HOMOSEXUAL CIVIL UNIONS,
which are identical to marriages. He also believes it’s OK if sodomites adopt children. O’Reilly should be barred from receiving community in the Catholic Church. He is causing great scandal by being a public figure and openly going against the teachings of the Catholic Church.

I don’t know if O’Reilly is Catholic. Yes, civil unions are against the teaching of the Catholic Church, but considering the new Pope supported civil unions, I doubt he or anyone else will be barred.

I said nothing about ex-communication or the pope. I simply said O'Reilly was acting like a modern, informed Roman Catholic. They move with the tide; they change their belief structure as the society teaches them. It is a pattern they see in the leadership of Rome which includes abortion promoters in the congregation when those people are "powerful". Of course, God knows all...it's Rome which doesn't know much.

O’Reilly claims to be Catholic and the new Pope didn’t support Civil Unions. That was a story floated by the liberal press.
