This is becoming a racist stance from the chairman of the RNC and the judges. They are expressing the same concern in which they are accusing of us doing. They claim some do not support gay marriage because of our biblical teachings. Isn't that our protected right to our religious freedom and freedom of expression and free speech. Violent acts under the law will be accountable, right. So, now they tell us to shut up and go out of the way in the public to ridicule our belief; to even judge us. Only certain people seem to fit into their circles. This has been an eye opening experience to see how really bigoted they are towards people of different faiths. Michael Steel said to Newsmax, the insiders of the GOP are not wanting the party to be religious. He's right on that. This story confirms it to me.

The “gay” agenda is all about destroying religious freedom. They’d love nothing better than to burn the bible as a “hate” book and make it a crime to speak out about their perverted life styles, er, death styles.

I say racist because he’s targeting the Bible belt- the whites mostly.

The GOP-E hates Christians far more than it hates liberals. In fact, it understands and accepts liberals - but it has no basis for interaction with social conservatives.

I’ve voted straight republican for 20+ years. I stopped giving to the RNC 10 years ago. I may switch my registration to independent, knowing that I’ll only vote for 3-4 spots on the 2014/16 ballot. I refuse to vote for someone who hates me.

Actually, I haven’t voted straight republican for 20+ years. Last time McCain came up, I voted for his opponent. But this “Social conservatives are hate-filled bigots” stuff has shoved me out of the Republican party. And if they lose someone who has given them steady support since the mid-80s, where will they get the votes? San Francisco?
