It worked last time. Last year, when oral arguments in the Obamacare case seemed to go against the administration, the left targeted Chief Justice John Roberts with a series of attacks from President Barack Obama on down. The attacks may have worked, as Roberts apparently changed his vote and upheld Obamacare by effectively rewriting the legislation itself to define the individual mandate as a tax.
The attacks on Roberts last year included President Obama's general--and bizarre--assertion that the Supreme Court could not overturn congressional legislation, as well as a direct attack on Roberts by Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT), who admonished the Chief Justice about "the proper role of the judicial branch." The left media joined in enthusiastically, bullying the Chief Justice into deferring to Congress and the President.
This time, the charge is being led by the left media, including Ryan Grim of the Huffington Post, who penned a front-page article attacking Roberts for his past rulings on race and discrimination. Roberts's Obamacare decision, or his support for overturning most of Arizona's allegedly discriminatory immigration law (another 2012 debacle) apparently earned no points from Grim, who castigates Roberts for ignoring race.

Roberts is arguably one of the worst picks in history.
They have the GOODS on him....he’s either gay/bisexual or has ILLEGALLY adopted his two kids. One or both. He will side with the left.
When is he just going to come clean and explain what he’s being blackmailed over? It will remove the power over him.
And Bush one gave us that scumbag, Souter. Great picks by these Republican presidents. Judas Roberts will vote how they tell him to.

It’s pretty hard to find a conservative judge today when all the major law schools are basically Stalinist in orientation.
He needs to get in front of the camera on Fox News and say
“this person is blackmailing me over this issue. No, I’m not resigning because 0bama will appoint a radical socialist in my place.”
That aptly describes the GOP's leadership these days--Bonehead, Juan McStupid, Goober Grahamcracker, Eric Cancer, etc. If they would just emulate the great leaders of yore, like Robert Taft, Barry Goldwater, William Jenner, Walter Judd, etc., and stand up for conservative principles, they could stop Obama's agenda cold.
I once had a dream - that Roberts had a brain.
The Democrats certainly hate anything that impedes their agenda. They just can’t help themselves.

Roberts should blackmail BO right back by agreeing to hear serious cases on where the idiot was born. BO has only produced one piece of fake evidence that says he is American born. Go after him.

Hussein owns all the left and about half the right on this issue. About a third HERE would gladly ridicule him and anyone else here who supported Roberts’ revenge.

Sometimes I wonder why I even bother to vote.
The Left characterizes itself as the highest form of human intelligence that ever existed, yet it can’t solve the problems of human exstence with all that supposed brilliance and intellectual superiority at its disposal.
