Love is a good thing. Love is by definition a good thing.
I love my son, daughter, mother, father, pastor, worship leader, horse, dog, fox-hole buddy, neighbor, friend, and neighbor’s wife.
I love them all. This is good.
If I have sex with any of them, it is a perversion.
Don’t fall for the “love” argument.
And there is no government interest in recognizing people’s romantic same sex relationships.
