If the lighters are for you skip them and get a magnesium fire starting block. Much better as long as you are not to cold to use it as it is lite with a flint strip on the side.
Actually from what I read in that article, I was getting the lighters to trade. Apparently, the means for starting a fire can be mighty valuable and might be worth a can of food.
