Behind bars, he was known as "Ebel Evil."
Within a day of arriving at his first permanent prison, Evan Spencer Ebel, who is suspected in last week's slaying of Colorado's prisons chief and died in a Texas shootout, got into a fight. Six months later, he told a female guard "that he would kill her if he ever saw her on the streets, and that he would make her beg for her life," according to prison records released Thursday.
That was one of 28 violations he racked up during his time behind bars, most of which was spent in solitary confinement.

Why was this maniac even let out????
Oh that’s right Liberals whine about how bad prisoners get treated and lobby for them to get released on “parole”....
The same liberals that would put law abiding criminals into jail for just OWNING what the 2nd Amendment enshrines as a Natural RIGHT!!!!
Into the SAME JAILS that maniacs LIKE THIS POS were released from.....
Let that sink IN...
Liberalism is a MENTAL DISORDER!!!!
The great accomplishment of his life was committing suicide by cop, which is to say: he couldn’t come up with enough guts to kill himself, so he forced someone else to do the job for him.
Just kill him.

Oh, sorry; he’s already dead, isn’t he? Well, it felt good just to say it.
I don’t believe in parole for lifers. What I don’t understand is why the prisons let prisoners out of their cells in the first place. Prisoners should never be allowed to congregate. Their meals should be delivered on a tray. They should be allowed one shower a week, one at a time accompanied by two guards with a shotgun.
Isn’t it amazing that there can be a newspaper article mentioning both DEMOCRAT Gov. John Hickenlooper and
Ebel’s father, without mentioning they are “close friends”.
Law abiding criminals?
He’ll be voting for many years to come.
Watching a show last night about a child molester/murderer in Columbia and Ecuador. They caught him in Ecuador, where most of his victims were, all between 8 and 11 years old. He led police to 57 bodies, claimed over 200 victims, just couldn’t remember where he had buried all of them.
Ecuador’s law does not allow consecutive sentencing, he served 14 years in prison. The law has since been changed, it is now 25 years, still no consecutive sentences.
It wouldn't be unprecedented to try. In the bible book of Esther, the sons of Haman were slain and later hanged.
