A New York veteran’s hospital may have exposed more than 700 of its patients with HIV, hepatitis B or hepatitis C by mistakenly reusing its insulin pens, which are used to inject diabetes patients with a hormone produced by the pancreas.

Why? Because it happened under the eye of their hero Obama. Compare that to the fits being made by the major media today about the Oklahoma dentist who had unsanitary conditions.

How does one mistakenly reuse an insulin pen? Aren’t these single use disposable devices?
Because they did it on purpose.
Multiple dose, SINGLE patient, disposable.
We had a dentist here in Knightdale, NC (just E. of Raleigh) that intentionally used contaminated needles on patients.
He was HIV positive and wanted to spread it around.Used his own blood to contaminate the needles.
Happened some years ago and I don’t recall the outcome. I’ll research it.

Also, now with all this ‘gay crap’ going on, including the military, how would you answer your ‘team physician’, (more like the guy at Manny, Moe and Jack’s, that writes your car troubles, and hands it over to the particular specialized mechanic), if they were asking if you would go for one of these tests?

People don’t really care what goes on in the VA hospitals. They’re gov’t funded institutions that take care of, well, vets.
Low priority for the gov’t very busy appeasing it’s voters, oh, and, now, the royal family.
Here’s the kicker, though:
The VA hospital will be the best medical care in the country compared with what we’re going to get with BO care.
Workers reusing an insulin pen. that’s the work of an uncaring, lazy med tech waiting out his retirement sick of fighting for equipment that never comes.
That lack of supervision is going to plague our hospitals as is the lack of equipment.
Yep. Instead of being manned by the the Federal Employee Union and run by the VA, they will be manned by the SEIU and run by the DMV.
People will be fleeing the USA to get admitted into the NHS hospitals in Great Britain so they can get "decent" care.
