A Detroit police officer on the force for more than a decade has been accused of orchestrating a series of robberies in southeast Michigan.
34 year-old Clifton Whatley was arraigned Thursday in a Taylor court on three counts of armed robbery, two counts of bank robbery and other charges.
A judge set bond at $1 million and Whatley is in custody.

This sort of thing is one of the reasons why I never traveled to Detroit on business. The rule of law is a precarious thing in certain areas.

It would depend on your business. If your business is downtown its fine but if your business is something like house painting you could end up in some rough neighborhoods. However you can go to Detroit openly armed.

We are heading down to Mexican level of policing.
