An editorial on Fridays Chicago Tribune called President Barack Obama to approve the controversial Keystone XL pipeline, saying the decision is an easy one and long overdue.
Even if the oil flowing through Keystone would be exported, the U.S. would still benefit from the pipeline construction and refinery jobs created, the Tribune said. Allow America to draw on its bounty, the newspaper said.

There was a train that derailed in MN the other day. It was carrying oil and spilled some. I think it was a NS train and I think it was unrefined tar sand oil. Don’t think the drive by media was allowed to report!

A 94-car Canadian Pacific Railway train partially derailed in Parkers Prairie, Minn., on Wednesday, spilling as much as 714 barrels of crude, according to Minnesota officials. Oil is visible on the ground in the lower left.

The spill is one of the biggest in a rising number related to railroads, as energy companies use trains to move crude oil from booming North American fields not adequately served by pipelines. The number of incidents has risen sharply in the past few years, according to a Wall Street Journal analysis of federal data.

Thanks C_H. I would think, with that $ investment, someone is expecting a return on their investment. I recall Ms. Rice and hubby have a nice sum riding on the pipeline being built. I wonder who will be allowed to profit!
