she and PP are concerned about the logistics of transporting a baby that survives a botched abortion in a rural area to the nearest trauma center that might be 45 minutes away?...

Consider if the tables were turned slightly... say the baby was healthy heart-beating and breathing just fine. Would this witch have the same transport concerns if the mother post-abortion were having heart arythmias and dire breathing problems? Seems to me, if anything, her concern would be greater for a "living thing" that weighed 100 times as much and was 50 times bigger, vis-a-vis "transport logistics".
