Carson and Sowell want to see them rise up out of their situation, while Jackson, Sharpton andObama want to see them stay in it.

Looking around FRee Republic I'd have to say that most FReepers are in agreement with the Just Us brothers.

I guess I might misunderstand what you are trying to say.

If the majority here think that Dr. Carson is going to be branded and vilified by the left/media/black community because he dares to take the approach that government isn’t the answer and that supporting business, industry and self-reliance in not just the black community but throughout American society, then, yes.

But your statement sounded like you thought the majority of Freepers want blacks to stay on a “liberal plantation” where they are hand-fed by the government who looks the other way at all the issues in that community, as long as they get the vote out for liberals. That is what the “Just Us” brothers want...

And I don’t think most Freepers think that way.
