It’s not inevitable.
We can #1 stop all immigration and send back those who are not yet citizens.(Dont ask me how, but the coming economic collapse may play a part. Maybe they won’t want to come here any more for a while?)

#2 Whites, Christians, and conservatives start having large families again. Don’t say you can’t afford it. accept a lower standard of living (you don’t have to have granite countertops and custom draperies). Start backyard gardening, etc. Don’t plan on sending your kids to college. Homeschool, then do a couple of years of junior college locally. Kids work their way thru if they really want to. Grandparents who are conservative, get involved with your kids and grandkids. Help teach, help garden, teach the old skills.

I believe the coming economic collapse will bring terrible, terrible hardship, but may be the opening we need to turn things around. Things happening in Cyprus are just the beginning of the domino. If the Christian conservatives can survive all that,(without our government turning the US into a complete NK police state) we can rebuild with more freedom after the chaos dies down.

If it all collapses, we MUST dismantle the public school system. return it to local and family control, and make the only mandate that they teach TRUE American history. Teach kids to once again be proud of America, the true godly, God Fearing, hardworking, freedom loving America, not the depraved, greedy America we have become or the “oppresive” America that the Marxists have made up and teach kids about now.

We also need a new party. If what you say is true, the Republican brand may have been forever tainted. We need a new name that depicts our real principles.

The old, 50 state US may not survive, but maybe after the collapse there will be several smaller versions of the old America.

I’m not preaching at you Kabar. I agree it is almost inevitable. I need to preach to myself so I don’t totally give up hope.

Can you name any prominent politician of either party who is advocating that? We have the Gang of 8 along with Rand Paul trying to shove amnesty down our throats. And the GOP wants an expanded guest worker program to bring in even more "temporary" workers. We are going in the exact opposite direction. There is no political will to stop all immigration and deport the illegals. Just the opposite.

LOL. Let's stop being silly. Fertility rates among non-Hispanic whites are declining. How are you going to turn that around? Pigs could fly if they had wings.

Or the Left could use the crisis to seize more power for Government and reduce our individual liberties--a more likely scenario if there is indeed chaos and civil disorder.

We also need a new party. If what you say is true, the Republican brand may have been forever tainted. We need a new name that depicts our real principles.I believe that is very likely if we have an amnesty. We will a third party based more on the Tea Party principles than anything else. Government has become disconnected from the people--the political class versus the country class.

I hear you. I think we are all discouraged and see no glimmer of hope from the GOP, which seems to want to re-brand itself eschewing the basic principles we conservatives believe in. Unfortunately, I think this country will have to hit bottom before such principles can resonate once again with the people. The culture of dependency is growing, not decreasing. Once the people understand that government cannot meet the promises it has made, maybe then, we can return to the vision of our Founders. I am not optimistic however.

1) Not “if” it collapses. Regardless, all conservatives must be committed to desolving our nation's system of socialist-entitlement, single-payer, and godless K-12 schools. They are a freedom of conscience abomination regardless of the state of the economy.

2)) Government owned and run K-12 schooling is the very definition of socialist-entitlement and single-payer schooling. On any level such a system is EVIL. First, any child who attends risks learning that any government powerful enough to give them tuition-free schooling is powerful enough to give them **LOTS** of free stuff. Second, since schooling can never be culturally, politically, or religiously neutral, government socialist-entitlement K-12 schooling inevitably pits one neighbor against another in a fight to have their worldview taught and have the taxpayers pay for it.

2)
