want a third option in the smartphone market. Blackberry is still in the running for third place. The trend doesn't look good for Blackberry -- but, these graphs were created before the Blackberry 10 was released. Will the "10" be enough to save Blackberry? We'll have to wait a bit to see. Meanwhile, Mozilla (i.e. Firefox) recently released a new open-source smartphone OS.
It's not over until it's over.
