OREGON CITY, Ore. – An man who police said grabbed a 22-year-old woman by her hair and assaulted her Sunday night got quite a surprise when she pulled out her handgun to defend herself.
Police said the suspect ran away when he saw the gun. The woman was not seriously hurt.

True. I just notice where they said, "she reached into her purse and pulled out her legally-owned gun." If she had saved her life using an "illegally-owned gun" they would have had to kill her.
AND, they messed the headline up. It sounds as if the guy had the gun and she fended him off.

But I did notice in the comments where someone said, "What was she doing in that part of town anyway?" Ooh! Those are fightin' words!
