Once again some of these prove that most people do not understand irony. For example: Someone slipping on a wet floor next to a wet floor sign is not ironic.

THE most ironic thing ever

“Pres. Announces that April will be designated as them onth that govenrment teaches kids to budget” Honest- He came out and said that Mr. $1.5 billion spent on himself and family in just 3 years came out and told peopel living off of as little as a couple thousand dollars a year that He/government was goign to teach htem how to budget- His wife’s SEPERATE Jet plane trip to Martha’s Vineyard (She took a seperate flight from her husband- costing double what it woudl have cost whiel Americans are out of jobs, lost hteir hoems, having to choose between heat, food, or medicines) was more than I’ll get in 20 years- and He’s goign to lecture me on how to budget? They haven’t got a friggin clue what it means to budget!!! So yeah- I’d say that pretty much tops the list of ironic foibles by a clueless administration

A lot of people use the word “ironic” when they should be using the word “coincidental”.

“A lot of people use the word “ironic” when they should be using the word “coincidental”,

That’s why I always hated that song by whatserface...”Isn’t it Ironic, Don’t You Think?”

There isn’t a single thing in that song that is an example of irony.

It’s ironic in the Alanis Morissette sense.

Seriously NSFW (language), but you might like this about Alanis Morrisette and “Ironic”.

“How To Save Paper”

reminds me of the time the company president was complaining about the company using too many office supplies, especially copy paper.

To make sure we all got the message, he had his secretary xerox 450 copies and give us each our individual copy of his message.

A better alternative would have been to make 5 copies and tack one up on each of the ‘company’ bulletin boards.

Someone slipping on a wet floor next to a wet floor sign is not ironic.

If that somebody was Obama, would it then be ironic ?

On Sunday, Kuly 20, 1969, mankind celebrated the biggest technical achievement ever accomplished by landing man on the moon. As huge as that was, there was a competing story that day. That was where Teddy Kennedy killed Mary Jo Kopechne. Isn’t it ironic that the event that one Kennedy set in motion in 1961 had to compete with an event that his brother had a direct hand in?
