You are right. After every hurricane I read about all of the people killed by flying flagpoles.
Those thing are dangerous.
Cut me a break here Brother. Any time an American, veteran cannot place a flagpole in his yard and fly the flag of America,that part where he lives is no longer the America I want to live in.
Whoever turned him in is a POS of the highest order.
I once read a flagpole in Floriduh struck dozens in the head killing them all.
BTW, no sharp objects are allowed on top of flagpoles, such as plastic or metal eagles with sharp beaks or wings. In fact, if you want something to adorn the top of your flagpole, that takes a separate building permit.
But the government permit process is not too expensive and is relatively streamlined, and in many cases the paper work consist of only about 27 pages or so after permit fees have been paid.
