A Response to the American Association of Pediatrics’ Role in Getting Americans to Impulse-Purchase Same-Sex Marriage

By Jeff Myers, Ph.D.

“Ya got trouble, my friend, right here, I say, trouble right here in RiverCity…

Mass-staria! Friends, the idle brain is the devil’s playground!”

“Professor” Harold Hill, The Music Man

Anatomy of a Hustle

Meredith Wilson’s The Music Man tells the story of the classic American hustle: “Professor” Harold Hill pulls one over on the citizens of RiverCity using a tried and true method employed by sham salesmen, sham evangelists, and sham politicians alike:

Play on people’s guilt feelings.

Publicly win the heart of the most credible but resistant person.

Play the victim so people will feel protective and make your case for you.

Launch the whole campaign on a national holiday, when everyone is in the mood.

I must apologize to Robert Preston for using his image in my post.

I did not mean any harm. He was a great actor.

And if he was alive today, I would expect him or his agents to totally KICK MY A$$!

Well, you can have mine, too, if that helps. Because it’s very likely I’ll die with my boots on paying off what it costs to bring several children to adulthood in a long term marriage. ( I saw a cover on a magazine talking about something > $500,000/child in lost investment potential for instance). Whatever the federal government did for me is close to nothing compared to that. That’s why homosexual marriage is a scam, and the millions of others in my position are the ones it hurts. But taking your tag line to heart, call me an optimist.

I love my money.

Unlike homosexuals, I can reproduce my money. And do so without any help from the government. I have a full color scanner/printer.

If I am forced by the government to condone, accept and celebrate homosexual marriage, then the government should condone, accept and celebrate my new money.

After all, it is made in their image, in their likeness. And it is diversified into different denominations. As they tell me, diversity is strength. Ergo, they should be proud that I have been fertile and multiplied.

That is a very insulting way to speak of marriage.

Pardon me for pointing out the bleeding obvious. Or maybe for holding up a mirror that people don’t want to look into.

Of course, you are aware that there are governments, Russia , Japan and France come to mind, that directly pay people to have children. Somewhere ,there must be something of perceived benefit to the government and society. One thing you can bet, homosexual marriage will bring about a baby boom, of adopted babies....not.

I honestly don’t care what the governments in Russia, Japan and France dowith their livestock. I’m a little more interested in what the government here does with its livestock.

Sorry, “humanity” lost ownership of marriage when the goverment did it’s leveraged buyout. If americans really valued the institution they shouldn’t have let fedgov submit bids for it.
