That is a plain lie. If the goal was to safe money, 3/4 of the buy would have been cheaper range ammo, not expensive HP ammo.

And please, don’t try to blow smoke up my a$$ with a fable like, “Nothing is too good for our feds. They always train on expensive HP ammo.” BS. They can make range ammo that handles and feels the same as the HP ammo....if the goal is cost saving.

If the goal was to save money, they’d save more if they bought nothing. Don’t they know we’re broke?

Hey McGee, how come this massive demand for billions of rounds?

How many shootouts has DHS been involved in?

5000? 500? 5?

0?

It isn’t the cost. With the Feds, as I’m sure you know, cost means nothing.

The desire to train with HP’s is pretty standard w/ the Feds. They’re better than us common folk, you know.(sarc)

This is about hoarding it all, so we can’t get any. Pure and simple.

Has it ever been verified that they are indeed buying hollow points? And if so, what is the percentage of the billion rounds? I can somewhat understand a bulk purchase of practice rounds that extends over some years, but HP's? Why? Hollow points are internationally outlawed by treaty and many States have made them illegal.

Also, there are way too many law enforcement units in departments/agencies that should not have such units, and this has been building before Obambi.
