African American Education Czar to Reduce “Resegregation”
Judicial Watch ^ | 3/12/2013

Keeping with his race-based ideology, President Obama has named the nation’s first African American education czar to focus on improving the academic performance of black students and countering the discrimination that persists in public schools around the country.

The official title is Executive Director of White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans and the task is to reduce “racial isolation and resegregation of elementary and secondary schools.” Despite decades-old desegregation laws, “substantial obstacles” to equal educational opportunities still remain in America’s public school system, according to the president. Therefore the academic performance of black students has for decades lagged behind whites and other ethnic minorities.

So last summer the commander-in-chief issued an executive order to create a special White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans. The goal is to tackle a rampant crisis of perpetually low academic performance and high dropout rates among black students. African Americans lack equal access to highly effective teachers and principals, safe schools and challenging college-preparatory classes and they disproportionately experience school discipline and referrals to special education, according to the executive order.

President Obama also threw this often-cited statistic into his race-based educational excellence executive order: “African American males also experience disparate rates of incarceration.” Presumably, his new initiative will bring the numbers down. The effort includes the creation of a new President’s Advisory Commission on Educational Excellence for African Americans and a special “working group” consisting of senior officials from the departments of Justice, Education, Labor and White House Domestic Policy Council.

The idea is to provide the support that will enable African American students to improve their level of educational achievement through rigorous and well-rounded academic and support services that will prepare them for college, a career, and a lifetime of learning.” The new black education czar, David J. Johns, will work to identify evidence-based best practices to improve African American student achievement from cradle to career, according to an announcement issued by the Education Department.

Of interesting note is that the administration is actually paying states to set new academic achievement targets based on race and income, with lower goals for black, Hispanic and poor kids and higher ones for whites and Asians. Washington D.C. became the first American public school system to adapt the new race-based standards last fall. A federal education official explained in a mainstream newspaper that the administration is just “trying to be realistic about what’s achievable.”

A few weeks later Florida adopted the unprecedented race-based achievement targets for all of the 2.6 million students that attend the state’s 3,629 public schools. Like the area surrounding the nation’s capital, the Sunshine State set higher reading and math achievement standards for Asians and white students and lower goals for blacks and Hispanics. This seems to contradict the president’s executive order to improve educational outcomes for African Americans of all ages by, among other things, eliminating “substantial obstacles to equal education” and offering “challenging college-preparatory classes.”

And this is supposed to motivate black students who insist that to learn reading and writing is “acting white “?

And who’s responsible for this exactly?

Could theses educational problems possibly have something to do with “Black culture” and “black” local political leaders?

As a population blacks are scrambling to get into theses charter schools that they appose. Obviously many blacks know in their heart as demonstrated by their actions that their own democratic leaders who run their local schools have created a terrible product.

That their efforts to save their children from a poor education are in fact being fought by the very people they elect, cannot possibly be lost on them.

How is it that we can get theses emotionally wreckless people to realize their mistake?

Their objective will be to reduce the disparity between black and white student performance.

Increasing black student performance is very hard.

Sabotaging white student performance is easier.

Still waiting for any sort of explanation of how education is any of the Federal government’s Constitutional business.

Parents, even the most liberal parents, are protective of their children. So long as feral students are disproportionately common in predominantly black schools, white flight will resegregate those schools. Whether they have to move across the middle school or high school boundary line in the same city, across a county line into a different school district, into a different state, or into the private schools or homeschooling, decent parents will move and take their kids with them. The key to desegregation is to remove the incentive to leave by demanding appropriate behavior from all students, even those who claim diversity as an exemption from the rules. As a bonus, demanding that students behave will encourage them to actually learn. It’s a shame leaders on the far left don’t want that to happen.

I don’t want that banger trash in my upper class suburban schools. Let them live and go to the schools in the democRAT infested mess from whence they sprang. Let their parents face the consequences for voting democRAT.

They’re screaming racism over the Detroit emergency manager law even though the first man fired was the interim superintendent of the public schools and he was a white. The emergency manager of the school system is a black man (Roy Roberts) who was appointed by Rick Snyder.

Back in the Jurassic 60s, the Ford Foundation, not exactly a hotbed of reactionary right-wingers, proposed using retiring African-American NCOs as "deans of discipline" in public schools in DC to rigidly enforce codes of dress, behavior, and academic achievement. Such a concept!

If The Hawaiian wanted a legacy that had something to do with the good of this country and "his people," whom his very immediate ancestors rounded up into slavery until stopped by the British, he would revive this idea of discipline and achievement. I have the very politically incorrect feeling that a couple of whippings, administered by at the right time by a caring adult, might have saved Trayvon's life. And yes, the dumbass Zimmerman Brother is absolutely right. The Elkins boy in Brunwick and Trayvon are peas trapped in a very counterproductive cultural pod that has very little to do with racial discrimination.

The worst thing about the situation is that by not holding blacks responsible for anti-social behavior and witholding even mild consequences, school authorities can no longer enforce discipline among any student group. It is chaos.

If the man appointed as "Schools Czar" for African-Americans has any balls at all and will take the action that is needed to shape up the wild people who are ruining ALL the urban schools in the country, which BTW are all managed by the Black Elite, why then I will applaud him, despite his appointment by The Mombasa MF.

Shaping up lower-end Negroes is an excellent idea. Go to it!

“substantial obstacles” to educational opportunities in the African-American community has nothing to do with racism.

And everything to do with fatherless children begetting fatherless children.
