I believe that it won’t be long before there are very few states, mostly in the South and the West, which protect the citizens’ 2A rights. After a while, probably less time than we think, those few states will be isolated pariah states, and the federal government in cooperation with all the other states which have fallen into line, will put immense pressure theough every means possivle to coerce the pariah states to cave.
Rather I see a parting of the ways which means a breaking up of the USA down the road. It will happen, just like it happened to the old Soviet Union. Give it time.
Plus folks will simply hide their guns, that is all.
