No, Mr. Sweater-vest, as much as I appreciate his pro-life stances, can’t even win his home state.

He has zero ability to control the narrative.

He can more often than not come across as whiney. (NOTE: there were some times during the debates when this was NOT the case.)

In the end he got used in the primaries to split the conservative base, and that seemed to be OK with him. Sorry Rick, sometimes you have to play for the team, not for the individual stats, when it’s clear you’re not going to be Team Captain.

Right, he split the conservative base by earning the most states and votes among conservatives.

I see how that works.

Actually it would be Sir Newt who split the conservative base from Santorum costing him three crucial states in our war against Romney and thus ensuring Obama’s re-election.

As some Freepers warned more than a year ago.
