They might just get rid of marriage.
What is the purpose of marriage?
Malachi 2:15:
Didn't the LORD make you one with your wife? In body and spirit you are his. And what does he want? Godly children from your union. So guard your heart; remain loyal to the wife of your youth.
If they decide "marriage" can be same sex maybe we should bring lawsuits to get marriage out of government. Marriage is a religous tradition and according to the ACLU religous traditions have no place in government. Government can call their thing something else. Unions or whatever.
Gay advocates are always arguing gay marriage for equal financial, vistitation, insurance etc. rights. Additionally they want social acceptance of their lifestyle by calling it marriage. I refuse to equate what God determined to be marriage to what the State determines it to be.
