Yep, and the reason he attacked is because Truman made a statement that sounded as if the US wouldn't protect SK as per our agreement with them. Kim was wrong of course but this time we have the weakest CIC in the WH since this country started. Everyone(including the little fat guy in the North) thinks Bozo won't do anything to stop the Norks if they do attack.
It's entirely possible that the Chinese believe Bozo won't respond and is egging Kim Jr on.

I’ll have to post MacAuthors’ reaction when ordered by Truman to defend Korea. The short version is that he could not believe it, since Truman only months earlier had stated the US had no interest in Korea. It is pretty funny what he told his staff after getting the order.
