City Council bans weapons in city buildings, except for elected officials

RACINE - The City Council voted Wednesday to approve an ordinance revision officially banning weapons in city-owned buildings, with an exemption for elected city officials.

The ordinance passed by a vote of 9 to 5, but drew criticism from council members and area residents over a recent amendment that exempted those elected city officials with concealed carry licenses from the ban.

So, when some wackjob liberal mental patient enters the City Council building and begins shooting up the place, the City Council now has a tool they can use to prevent . . . oh, wait, never mind.

Sounds like a violation of the fourteenth ammendment to the US Constitution.

But politicians today only laugh at the Constitution.
