Actually, there is a remote possibility it was a Freudian slip. Spoke with someone on a thread here a week or two ago and they had met with people who were there who claimed the only casings laying around were 9mm. I’m no expert on this, but I did read that a Bushmaster can be modified to fire 9mm. I also found it can be modified to fire full auto. There’s a kit for that. So what if Lanza really did use the Bushmaster, but not the off the shelf variety, but a weapon modified to work more or less like a machine gun? It would poke quite a nasty hole in the propaganda.
