I am on the other side of the world, so I am not concerned, but wouldn’t most of these products be cooked or recooked before consuming?
Does E.coli produce toxic chemicals that are not destroyed by cooking?

Yes, if properly cooked to 165DEG the bacteria would be killed. However, these foods are almost always precooked and even though they are made to be completely reheated, they often times are not. So, this is a form of over caution and it is a good thing.

Yes, I know that, but can the bacteria produce toxic chemicals
that would not be destroyed by normal cooking?

Never ever heard of Farm Rich. Must be a regional brand?

Ever notice that a good number of these companies that have recalls for E. Coli and whatnot seem to have an unusually large recently immigrated muslim population of workers? I’m wondering...

Cheers!

This is the kind of thing that happens with industrial food production. "Farm Rich" should be "Factory Rich". They just use 'farm' for the image it provkes.

Of course when there is an industrial size problem it requires an industrial size solution as in the Food Safety Act which in this case has worked with typical government effectiveness.

Using Ed Shultz logic:

The New York SAFE Act, a henious anti-gun monstrosity passes on Jan 15, 2013. By April 5, 2013, a New York snack food maker is recalling about 3 million pounds of frozen pizza.

GUN CONTROL POISONS FOOD!!!!

We have it here in the supermarkets in Georgia. I buy the Farm Rich mozzarella bites for my kids. Good thing I haven’t purchased any recently.
